The Farm
At Honey Badger, we believe that the journey from farm to french fry is just as important as the end product. Our potato production farm focuses on cultivating the highest quality potatoes specifically for french fry processing.
With meticulous care and attention to detail, we ensure that our potatoes are grown to perfection. From planting to harvesting, every step of the process is carefully monitored to guarantee the best flavor, texture, and consistency in our fries.

The farm measure an extent of 4.8 Ha, has ideal soil forms with low clay % for potatoes planting. The property is leased from the Tokologo Local Municipality for 10 Years, with option for extension and is approximatley 5 km from Hertzogville town.

Honey Badger current operational facility are all thanks to Boshoff solar through their Enterprise and Socio-Economic Development. which aims to development initiatives promote access to the economy for all people. Boshoff Solar has provided a business container, and all the necessary manufacturing equipment, to run a sustainable business, thanks to development funding and business skills training.

Chair Person/Director

Mr. Ntatenyane Taje is the Chair Person/Director of the team. He is responsible for overseeing and managing the team's operations and activities. He provides leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring that they are aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization. Mr. Taje plays a crucial role in decision-making processes, strategic planning, and resource allocation. He also represents the team in external meetings and engagements, building relationships with stakeholders and partners. With his extensive experience and expertise, Mr. Taje brings a strong and visionary leadership to the team, driving it towards success and growth.

Mr. Moyikwa Melconian Kalitshana

Secretary/ Factory Operations Manager

As the Secretary/Factory Operations Manager, Mr. Moyikwa is responsible for managing the administrative tasks and overseeing the daily operations of the factory. He ensures that all paperwork and documentation are handled efficiently and accurately. He coordinates with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies. Mr. Moyikwa also plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and organized working environment, implementing and enforcing safety protocols. He assists in the hiring and training of new staff members and contributes to the overall strategic planning and decision-making process of the factory operations. Mr. Moyikwa's excellent organizational and communication skills make him an invaluable asset to the team.

Ms. Lerato Dephne Mohlale

Deputy Secretary/ Marketing Manager

Ms.Lerato Mohlale serves as the Deputy Secretary/Marketing Manager of the team. In her role, she functions as the right hand of the Secretary and supports the overall management and operations of the team. She collaborates closely with other team members to ensure all marketing initiatives are executed effectively. Elizabeth possesses strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of marketing strategies, allowing her to make informed decisions to drive the team's success.

Ms. Dimakatso Groenewaldt

General Worker/ Non-Cooperative member

Ms. Dimakatso Groenewaldt is a general worker on our team. As a non-cooperative member, her role is to assist with various tasks as assigned. She is responsible for completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all work is done according to the given instructions. Ms Dimakatso is expected to be punctual and reliable, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to collaborate with the rest of the team. She may be required to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the nature of the task at hand. Ms Dimakatso is a valuable member of our team, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Mr. Pitso is a general worker on the team. As a non-cooperative member, he may not actively participate in team discussions or contribute to team projects. However, he still completes assigned tasks and fulfills his responsibilities to the best of his abilities. While he may not be the most engaged team member, Mr Pitso work is reliable and consistent, ensuring that essential tasks are completed on time.
